Brilliant. I just left a job because of the bad ethics surrounding de-stigmatizing psychotherapy so as to make it a normal part of life for everyone. Ridiculous. Shame surrounding dysfunction is important.

Patent medicine relies on a number of heuristics, one of them being easy belief in an expansive cure ("faith in panacea" is what I call it). This works for that in his case, therefore it ought to work for her in her case, which means it ought to be good for whatever ails you.
